A graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Textiles and Design, Carri now travels the world to hand-inspect the extraordinary materials used in the crafting of her elegant jewelry. As a result of her travel, including four trips to India in the past year alone, Carri is inspired by trends in world fashion; designing jewelry in harmony with the most haute of couture as well as eminently wearable pieces suitable for a woman's every day.

Early in her career Carri was fortunate to encounter a mentor who appreciated her fresh, highly innovative style. This giant in the world of fine-jewelry saw her budding greatness as a designer and over the years brought Carri deeper into the privileged, inner circles of jewelry.

It is this relationship which provides Carri her distinct advantage. Carri now has carte blanche at several diamond and colored stone mines, as well as in several jewelry production factories abroad. This enables her to acquire the best in raw materials, gems and large-scale production.

Carri hand-picks only the most brilliant and ideally cut diamonds directly from the mine and selects colored-stones with a keen eye for color and hue. She understands the beauty and simplicity revealed in subtle shades and combinations of color and applies this awareness artfully to her many design lines and collections. Working with artisans and bench jewelers locally and around the world, Card experiments fearlessly with colored gold, platinum and hand-dipped finishes to create her distinct, ever-progressing style.

Recently she developed an expandable, patent-pending ring design, poised to revolutionize the world of fine jewelry. Hand-crafted here in the United States with European artisanship and exquisite attention to detail, this revolutionary design is comprised of a series of links; each individually cast, polished and set by hand. This impressive ring utilizes a patent pending, flexible mechanism allowing the ring to expand and contract with ease while providing an additional TWO SIZES of expansion from its base size! This stunning ring and pending collection is available for men and women; with choice metal and stones. Originally designed for the professional athlete and others, like expectant mothers, who experience a significant change in finger size. This extraordinary ring was in development for nearly two years and under wraps until it was launched at the Superbowl early in 2007.
